help !recently windows 10 seems to be uninstalling adblock plus from firefox 50.1.0i have re-installed it several times and it works fine, but if i log off , or shut down, it vanishes when laptop restarts.i have checked windows store for adblocker alternatives but [interestingly] there don't appear to be any.i have a similar problem with 'click and clean' which i can install from the firefox addons, but which firefox then decides is not compatible with firefox and disables / uninstalls itam i missing something or has anyone else had the same problem and solved itany suggestions gratefully receivedajmm

Adblock Plus blocks annoying ads on the web. It can block other things, like tracking, as well. With more than 50 million users, it is the world's most popular browser extension. Adblock Plus is an open source project created by Wladimir Palant in 2006. Eyeo was founded in 2011 by Wladimir Palant and Till Faida to make its development sustainable. Advertising brings a huge profit to any website displaying ad banners, no matter if they are powered by Google or by some other similar company. A single click on an ad can redirect you to several pages, turning a simple web browsing session into a nightmare. There are several ways to remove this kind of behavior and one of the most reliable ones is Adblock Plus.
Adblock Plus exists to save its users from annoying ads. However, we don't think that all ads are bad, and we are fully aware that website owners need them to survive. Therefore, we have established strict criteria to identify Acceptable Ads: unobtrusive ones that don't need to be blocked. Websites that are willing to comply with these criteria can apply to have their ads added to the Acceptable Ads exception list, which will unblock them for most users. Note that if you don't want to see any ads, you will always be able to opt out of this.
Users can add external filtersets. Adblock Plus includes the ability to use one or more external filter subscriptions that are automatically updated. It is highly customizable, leaving the decision of what should be shown on the Internet entirely up to you.
